Greetings, and welcome to by page. I am the Robotic Operating Buddy, but you may call me ROB, Robbie, or any other nicknames that you may come up with. I appologize if I seem to be hard to understand. Keyboards are not really my forte...

I am a robot that was created many years ago, and now I am hoping to.. what is the term? "Spice" my life up a little bit. I currently attend Sumabura Gakuen for training both mind and body.

... one little note, though; You may see me as a human every so often. Do not worry, as it is how I get around at the school. However, I do not don this form very often.. clothing is very uncomfortable for me to wear.. Well, after much persuasion by one of my friends, I have grown comfortable being human.. well, as human as I can possibly be.. I am still mechanic. I do not mind this, however.

Sumabura Gakuen Character Information / Original Application

Name: Robotic Operating Buddy, aka R.O.B. Also can be called Robbie. Feel free to call him any nicknames you wish.
Game/Series: R.O.B. series, Gyromite, Stack Up
Age & Grade Level: Ageless, but in reality he is 23 years old. However, he has the mind of a middle/late teenager. Sent into Freshman grade level due to this being his first experience in any sort of school.
Personality: Being a robot, he is quite curious about everything that goes on around him, as he's quite fascinated by emotions and living creatures. He's a fast learner who excels in mechanical and mathematical skills, but can have problems with combat due to constant denting of his metal frame. Very quick to forgive of anything that happens, and also very gullible and easy to take advantage of. Calls everyone a friend, but has gotten mixed up on the whole "girlfriend/boyfriend" subject. He gets confused easily on certain subjects, and will require a thorough explanation to sort himself out. He also has a habit of moving about in a jerking fashion, such as when moving his head ((read, headtilting)), turning around, etc. If greatly surprised, his eye beams might go off, leaving a smoldering hole in any nearby wall, floor, ceiling, or object. He has been trying to rid himself of this habit for a while, so sometimes his eyes may just spark. Has a weakness for any sort of games, particularly old electronic ones such as the games he was built for ((Gyromite and Stack-Up)).
Backstory: A robot created in the 80s as a gaming partner, ROB has wanted a bit more in his life after doing the same thing for over 20 years. He has decided to try doing some different with his life, but still hasn't found anything good. Then again, this is only his second experience with something that he felt was challenging, his first being a racer. Fusterated with the racetrack, he recently thought about attempting to join others that he has watched from the sidelines for years, such as Mario and Link. However, everyone has taken up fighting, which he knows nothing about. In hopes of becoming as good as those he's watched and envied for years, he's gone to enroll in a nearby academy for just this sport.
Anything Else?: - Can be either his normal robotic self or can go about in a human form depending on whichever is needed at the time. He will usually be as a robot during combat, but for more free movement and daily classes that require more brainpower ((and normal speech)) he'll be human. UPDATE: The above has slightly changed; ROB's normal form can now speak english, so he no longer needs to change for that. He will rarely become human now. The only time he'll change is if he needs pinpoint accuracy on a subject ((such as writing)) or if he is required to be human. ROB now enjoys going about as a human, so he shall be in either his normal robotic form, or his human form. Note that he is still robotic even as a human.

- Genderless, though prefers being called a he. feel free to call him by any gender.
- About five feet tall as a normal robot, 5'10" in human form.
- Only speaks English in human form. Robotic form only communicates in whirrs and beeps, much like Mr Game & Watch. He can understand this robotic language even in his human form, and can understand English in his robotic form. UPDATE: ROB can speak english in robotic form now, thanks to his self made program, "human_voice_eng.exe". He can still understand the robotic language, though.
- Hardly sleeps, as he regains energy by recharging. This usually keeps him up during the middle of the night. During this time he's prone to wandering about.
- Has an On/Off switch in both forms. Robotic form has it on the right side on the back of his base. Human form has it on his lower back, right above his right hip. Be careful not to accidentally switch him off! ((unless he's getting too rowdy, or if he's extremely low on energy and must be recharged)) If he's switched off, he'll look like he's sleeping, or dead. just switch him back on and he'll be good as new. When switched off, he won't see or hear anything that happens during that time.
- Human clothing will change depending on the "paintjob" his robotic form has at the time. Default is his normal in-game colors, but can wear his grey, yellow, red, blue, or green outfits sometimes. ((Yes, that means he'll wear his pinkish-red outfit. He doesn't care, though. Really.)) The last three colors will usually be worn when he's in a team.
